Yes. It's tough. As the father of a 14 year old transgender daughter who has been living her truth since age 6 and never wavering, I desperately want to share our story to plant seeds of growth with people who don't understand. However, the safety factor is always on my mind. She's out with classmates and I've writing a few pieces but there's still fear of going full bore. I feel compelled to try and fight the good fight and I hate the fear holding me back but it's the best thing for our mental health right now.
