When I'm out surfing on my own which seems to happen often I tell myself that sharks don't like Chinese Food! I saw a video on shark week once where they tossed a moving human dummy into the mix when a great white was feeding and the shark would leave. They tend to hit hard and wait for their prey to die before feeding. When a sea lion gets hit all his friends take off. When a human gets hit we'll flock to help if we are around so the shark leaves. I've told my friend I will help them if they get hit by a shark but if they get hit by a saltwater Croc I'm paddling to shore and yelling, "Can I have your board?"
