Thank you for putting together such a comprehensive post. I picked up some ideas even though I eat low carb and am dairy free. I strive to be plant based for the most part but find myself craving meat at times. What gets me is the amount of plant based food one needs to eat in order to get the same amount protein as in meat. One needs to eat an entire can of beans to get the same protein as a small serving of chicken. Too much of anything just isn't good. I've learned recently about oxalates and I think some of my recent joint pain was from too much soy, dates, and spinach!
