So hard! It’s hard seeing the same Narcissistic behaviors that contributed to failed marriage dynamics affect the quality of the parenting to our kids. It’s hard to respond to each situation objectively without letting that baggage/history affect us emotionally. Then it’s hard to not let our own anger affect our ability to be a good Dad or Mom. When did life get so hard?! Remember when having to peel ourselves from a dorm bed for two finals was considered a hard day? Hah!
