Salt and Fat had the bad rap but it’s really sugar that is killing us. I eliminated dairy and foods with added sugar over 3 years ago and it has made a huge difference in how I feel, especially my joints. One way to frame dietary changes is to say, “I’m going to eat what makes me feel good.” I’m not giving up dairy or sugar. I’m doing what’s best for my body. I’m able to do the things I love that require me to be in good physical condition. That’s better than ice cream. In my 20s I could eat a pack of gummy bears and still charge, but that doesn’t work at 50!
