My kids are 12 and 14 now. They know my weed vape isn't an emergency whistle at that age. Hah! I've openly talked about how I've strived all my life to have weed and booze be the sprinkles on top of ice cream--a treat in my life to enhance it. I've also been honest about how, during tough times, it became a way to cope. It sneaks up on you that way.

One thing I don't like now is how strong the cannabis products are from the extracts to the edibles. It becomes a new class of drug. It's different than the Gen X brick weed I bought. I don't think it's as big a deal to my kids since it's legal and everyone and their mothers grows here in Oregon.
