I was there in 2009 for the week of Christmas. Every session was scary near my limits. My wife was pregnant with our first kiddo so there was that doubt. Am I being hardcore or stupid? Hah. Christmas day Waimea was 20-30ft so I drove around to Makaka and scored two of the best rights of my life. Sunset beat me down but was doable many of the days. Buddy just moved there. Need to go visit soon!
