I used the same picture in a piece I wrote about all the pills my Dad has taken over the years and how I believe all the pills he was prescribed over the years is at least partly responsible for his Parkinson's and Dementia. No one knows what the synergestic effects of taking multiple medications are and no one knows what certain meds do a person long term. Why fund a study on such things when Pharm companies are already making money off the meds? My Dad was on a handful of meds by the time he was my age (50). I am not a Doctor but I do know that a little goes a long ways when it comes to dietary changes. It can't hurt to do regular check ups for levels as you adjust a diet. Food is medicince. If a little pill can change things then by all means small changes in our diets can make a huge difference. You don't have to give up bacon! Just don't eat it all the time. Do some research on your own about the correlation of cholesterol and heart disease. There's actually a book written about it. All the Best to you...
