Every damn day is a gift. Even the shitty ones.

But again, I start thinking about how many more birthday celebrations I’ll have with my family. With every odd ache and pain in strange places, I’m constantly reminded of how unpredictable life can be. I’ve lost a few friends and family members at young ages.
