Curious. Is your Dad on carbidopa levodopa? My Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's first and didn't seem confused until after he started this med. He was diagnosed with Dementia after taking this med along with a cocktail of other fucken pills. I spent every day with him for two months and can with absolute certainty say that his meds were responsible for a good portion of his Dementia symptoms. I resonate with this article. (Sigh). The guilt and the helplessness. Here in Oregon there is a Death with Dignity Act but the cognitive diseases aren't covered. It's for terminal illnesses. I know my Dad wouldn't want to live this way if he could speak for himself. :(
