At age 50 I'm feeling that way!

How did I get here so quickly? I feel like I am just now figuring out who I am after 70 years on this earth. Just now doing what I love, just now learning to set clearer boundaries and not care about what others think nearly as much, if at all. Just now coming home to the self that I somehow pushed away all those years while I got busy doing what we are supposed to do in life. Go to school. Figure out career goals. At age 50 I'm feeling that way! Better late than never. Is 55 really the age I'm allowed to move into an Old People Home? Hah.
The Boundary thing has been key for me as I learn to love again. It's ok to say NO and it's ok to feel guilty after saying No because that's better than constantly pleasing and building up resentment. Damn. I sound like an old wise person. Hah.
