Agree on everything except advice on parenting. At age 46 I’m done knowing everything. Hah! You think or know how to do something better than me. Let me have it and I’ll decide. I think as we converse with new partners about life it will include our parenting challenges, and part of being good partners is listening to feedback and being able to give feedback freely without it being taken as criticism. Dating while parenting 50/50 is working for me because smooching and saying, “Can’t wait to see ya next week…” is a lot better than, “I need to get the fuck out of this house…” :)
